Tasting Notes
This Pinot noir reflects the vintage of 2005 with a wine of concentration, suppleness and ripe tannins. Aromas of cigar box, cinnamon and sweet vanilla fuse with dark cherries, spice and leather - hints of native ferment complexity. Flavours of freshly ground coffee, black current and wild cherries herald a mid palate of chocolate like richness leading into ripe tannins and balanced acidity. A complex, concentrated wine, this is a very ripe style of Pinot noir suited to robust foods of wild game such as duck and venison.

Tasting Notes
This Pinot Noir reflects the vintage of 2006 with wines of elegance, concentration, dark dense fruits and ripe tannins. Aromas of berries fuse with cinnamon and sweet vanilla. Flavors of fresh vibrant ripe red berry fruit and plums lead to a mid-palate of chocolate like richness and a lingering finish with ripe tannins and balanced acidity. A complex, concentrated wine with restraint and elegance is suited to robust foods of wild game such as duck and venison.
The focused vibrant flavors are layered with a dense tight core that will continue to open with ageing. A great wine for the cellar.
