Cellar Notes
The grapes were hand-harvested clean with a selected balance of 20% Botrytis fruit for added depth and complexity. The juice was clarified and placed into a stainless steel tank after being inoculated with cultured yeast for fermentation. Once perfect balance was achieved the wine was cooled and then sulphured with subsequent fining, filtration and bottling to retain as much freshness and vibrancy as possible.

 

Tasting Notes:
This award winning Waipara Riesling shows plenty of white peach and nectarine aromatics with lemon, lime and bitters. The juicy palate is medium in style and has plenty of sweet fruit, finely balanced by bright acidity. Fine-grained phenolics brush the mid-late palate and leads into a long finish, leaving you wanting more. Great for early drinking, but will cellar up to 10 Years or more.
