Cellar Notes
The grapes were hand-harvested and further sorted to ensure clean fruit. The grapes were fermented in small open-top fermenters. The wine was plunged regularly during fermentation with post fermentation maceration before being pressed to French Oak Barriques for maturation. Natural malolactic fermentation was completed in spring. The wine spent 10 months in the Barriques before it was bottled and held for release.
Tasting Notes:
This award winning elegant medium bodied wine, clean and rich with a deep red colour and good depth. Soft supple tannin structure in harmony with acid driving the palette and gentle oak supporting. Primary focus, flavourful and tasty! Great with food now and for further cellaring and ageing.
